Magazine Name Questionnaire

                                          Name Questionnaire for Music magazine
Please can you circle a name that you think will be best suited as a music magazine.

Turn It On
Turn It Up
Flava
Beat
Rhythm
Base
Lush

I produced this questionnaire for my target audience to pick a name that they would like a music magazine from the seven above. This was very helpful because you know a target audience is present to purchase your product. Also it prevents you from choosing a name which is not as appealing as you may think. A name is very important as it's the first thing the audience take a glance at before picking the magazine up.

                                  Results of my name qusetionnaire

The results were out of  40 people.
Turn It On-5

Turn It Up-8
Flava-6
Beat -3
Rhythm-7
Base-7
Lush-4

These results are reliable as i asked a large number of people to participate in my questionnaire. I am pleased with the results and the name for my music magazine is "Turn It Up". I believe this is a well made choice because "Turn it Up" relates back to music as you can turn music up.

Mood Boards..

Research on established magazine covers

These font covers will help me produce a creative front cover page for my music magazine. It is vital to produce something that appeals to the audience. Taking the risk of making something totally different to the one's that are around may be a risk to take.

Magazine Names and Fonts..

I have researched the logo's and the fonts of well established magazines. This will give me an idea on what is out in the market and how I would like my logo to me. The "Rolling Stone" logo is bright red with a tint of grey on the sides to bing it together. It is wel recogised logo as it has been around form generations.

The next magazine logo is "Q". This is simple, attractable and raeder freindly. The colour theme is brillant as they contrast togethr nicely.
The "Vibe" logo is bold, suggesting power. The black fill on the font bring the logo out. It is nice and simple. Male dominated.
Lastly, the "Cosmoploitan" magazine's logo is matriachal as it is very feminin. The bright pink brings my attention to the logo. This is the main aim of the logo.
